Hey, it’s October! 🎃🎃🎃And you know what that means…

Much like the full moon turns an ordinary man into a werewolf, the month of October transforms me into a blood-loving, fang-bearing, monster-obsessed ghoul. Well, maybe I’m like that all of the time. But when the witching month is upon us, I feel better about haunting your inboxes with tasty, horror-related morsels.

If you love horror, then be sure to stick around. I know I won’t get to write all the fang-tastic posts I want to, but I will offer up something spooky, ooky or kooky. Or maybe all three, we’ll see.

To get into the — ahem — spirit of things, let’s kick this horrorfest off with a little poem. Enjoy, ghouls and boils. I’ll see you again soon…

Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Monster from the Black Lagoon;
Must beware the next full moon;
Eye of Price and toe of Lee,
Films of Cushing you must see.
Leg and arm and corpse’s brain,
The doctor, he has gone insane.
For a month of chills and creeps,
Creatures stir and Reapers reap.

On her couch there sits Elvira,
Telling jokes to old Vampira.
A haunted house, do you dare,
Enter for a frightening scare?
Hallow’en is drawing nigh,
Exit now or you may die.
Ghosts and ghouls are restless here,
But sit right down, enjoy the fear.

Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Raise a glass of virgin’s blood,
Toast to Gods and monsters, good.

Until next time, unpleasant dreams . . .

^..^
